Well, well..
Our time here in Georgia has been a blast...getting here was a trip and a half. We left Kempner last Wednesday morning, everything was going great until we we got an hour and a half north of the house....BAM...a dove decides to commit suicide on the front of our truck. Thank goodness it didn't get stuck in the grill of our truck like the bird in South Dakota. Next, after staying over with some friends in north Louisiana, the trailer blows a tire (with horses in it of course), after waiting an hour on a wrecker to change out wheels, we finally get back on the road...to find a tire shop in Jackson Mississippi to get a new tire. Nice little 2 hour detour. Somewhere between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham we hit another snag, a car catches fire about half a mile ahead of us. We thought, "GEEZ, WHAT NEXT?" You never want to say that out loud, but hell, you can't help it.
We finally get here with no other "events."
