Turkey Day weekend....

As we wrap up Thanksgiving weekend 2009, I would like to say what I'm thankful for.....

Of course the usual family and friends who have supported us in our endeavors, (no matter how strange or unusual), my wife Stephenie who puts up with my tirades, (sometimes on a regular basis, never ending according to her), the gift and ability of making a living doing something I truly love.

Thanks to everyone who has put their trust in us. Who knows what the future will bring, but I hope it's bright.

p.s..... I'm thankful for the city of Jackson for not restoring this old gym on the Fairgrounds...

Images of the morning....

This morning when Steph got up to walk our heathen canine children, she immediately came back in the trailer and told me to grab my camera. The arena here in Hattiesburg backs up to a ten acre lake which does this(see images) at night because it gets so freakin cold. Steph calls the bottom image, " it looks the bridge to no where ".....

Thanks Steph for the heads up.

Final Destination.....

I first fell in love with cemeteries on a trip Steph and I took to France in 2000. I really don't know why cemeteries fascinate me, especially the older ones, I guess it's a mixture of art, architecture and cultural influences. Yesterday Steph and I took a day trip to Marietta's National Cemetery. It's not quite the size compared to Normandy or Arlington, but it still has the ambiance.

While wandering the square in Marietta yesterday we found this cool little Celtic Pub, "Johnnie MacCrackens,"....had a few pints, some Scottish fare and good times.

I'm baaaaack.....

I'm back from yet another roadtrip, this time out, Oklahoma City. It was an assignment for a client who wanted behind the scene images at the USTRC National Finals...tons of fun!! There's a couple of images I need to explain...or try to. The 6th and 7th image from the top go together, Walt Woodard is the guy above the golf cart saying, "Walt Woodard for President," I don't know whose cart it was, just that it's funny.
Had a great time seeing everyone in Dallas on my through....hope to do it again soon!!
