Hey ya'll-
Just wanted to let you know that we are here, at home, and are doing well. On the eve of the eve before meeting the old farts in Big Bend. Hopefully I will have some stories to share from THAT trip.
On a more professional level, the paper I work for and I collected some awards from the South Texas Press Association. The paper won a third overall and I collected a first for sports and a third for feature photos, both are included.
We are off tomorrow to shoot a friend's wedding, dinner and a most out of control reception. They are both part of the Rodeo and equine community. It will definitely be a wedding for the record books, I can't wait.

Hey!!! I finally got around to finding you two!!! Yay!! I cannot pick my favorite picture of those which you have posted!! The first one posted definitely is a front runner! I want to be on that ladder - what a great shot!
I have been out and about learning more and more about that camera of mine. I went to a local arena and took pictures of a team roping. Working on a bunch of stuff I want to get to ya to have you critique!
